Fatty Liver

Fatty liver disease is becoming increasingly common in many parts of the world, affecting many people globally. Fatty liver occurs when too much fat builds up in liver cells. Although it is normal to have a tiny amount of fat in these cells, the liver is considered fatty if more than 5% of it is fat.

Fat accumulation and inflammation damages the liver cells. This can lead to fibrosis, or scar tissue, as liver cells are repeatedly injured and die off. Fatty liver is linked to an increased risk of other diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease.

Several factors may cause or contribute to developing fatty liver:

  • Obesity;
  • Excess belly fat;
  • Excess belly fat;

  • Sugary beverage consumption;
  • Impaired gut health.

  • Fatigue and weakness;
  • Slight pain or fullness in the right or center abdominal area;
  • Elevated levels of liver enzymes;
  • Elevated insulin levels;
  • Elevated triglyceride levels.

There may be symptoms of fatty liver:

  • Loss of appetite;
  • Nausea and vomiting;
  • Moderate to severe abdominal pain;
  • Yellowing of eyes and skin

One can follow the following steps to get rid of fatty liver :

Positive Attitude

In my training sessions, I help my clients to understand an attitude and how important it is.

Attitude is a way of feeling or acting toward a person, thing, or situation. Many people may not always be aware of their attitude or the effect it is having on behavior.

There are two types of attitudes : Negative or Positive.

Let’s try to understand what is a positive attitude and its importance.

Studies have also shown that having a positive attitude makes your view of life seem broad, full of possibilities. Positive thinking helps with stress management and can even improve your health.

  • A positive attitude is a state of mind that envisions and expects favorable results;
  • A positive attitude means positive thinking. It is optimism and maintaining a positive mindset. It is a mental attitude that focuses on the bright side of life. In other words, positive thinking is the process of creating thoughts that create and transform energy into reality;
  • A positive mind waits for happiness, health, and a happy ending in any situation;
  • A positive attitude doesn’t mean ignoring life’s troubles. It just means being an optimist and looking for the good in things rather than being a pessimist.
  • A positive attitude is a guide to leading a positive life.

Maintaining a positive attitude through the ups and downs is necessary for every aspect of life: your social status, your work, your health, and your relationships.

  • A positive attitude brings positive opportunities;
  • A positive attitude can land you in successful or win-win situations;
  • A positive attitude will help you to get well from illness due to its placebo effects;
  • A positive attitude makes your presence enjoyable;
  • A positive attitude will lead you to a successful life.

Here are some steps to be in a positive frame of mind:

  • Know yourself;
  • Keep a gratitude journal;
  • Maintain a circle of positive people;
  • Develop your personality;
  • Enhance your abilities and skills;
  • Reframe your challenges.
  • Accept failures;
  • Use positive words to describe your life;
  • Stop complaining;
  • Try to find the good in everything;
  • Just Breathe;
  • Have solutions when pointing out problems;
  • Smile;
  • Make others smile.

A Positive Attitude is a must for Happy and Prosperous Life.

Exams !!!

Picture1.jpg

As exam dates are approaching, the atmosphere in many houses changes drastically.

Students appearing for SSC, HSC, and final year examinations are the ones experiencing these changes.

Parents put all their efforts so that their children score good marks in exams. It is the same scenario we see each year during exams.

Even after all the efforts, some students, though intelligent, somehow fail to perform as per their potentials in exams.

The situation further worsens when parents and relatives, without knowing the exact reason, comment – Thoda aur padhai ki hoti toh aur acche marks aate. It further demoralizes the students.

Article_Amol Dixit

I do conduct individual sessions as well as sessions for institutes on – Exam and stress management. It received a positive and overwhelming response from students and their parents as well as institutes.

The one common observation I had during my sessions is that students know about the implications if they don’t do good in exams, but they are unaware of the bright future they will have if they do well in exams.

Students should be made aware of the importance of exams in their life and career. It will help them to see exams as an opportunity and platform to prove their worth. Students should be made aware of other benefits of appearing in exams and doing well in them.

It is the responsibility of parents to believe in the abilities of their children. They should encourage students to succeed positively.

All the best in advance !!!

Exams – Marathi version

Article_Amol Dixit

A letter for students (Marathi version)

  • सखोल विचार करणे;
  • एखाद्या विशिष्ट वस्तू, विचार किंवा क्रियेवर लक्ष केंद्रित करणे;
  • मानसिक व्यायामांमध्ये गुंतणे;
  • मानसिकरित्या स्पष्ट आणि भावनिकदृष्ट्या शांत आणि स्थिर राहणे ;

  • आरामात बसून राहा (आसन);
  • शांत रहा आणि आपले डोळे बंद करा;
  • सहजपणे श्वास घ्या;
  • आपले लक्ष श्वासावर केंद्रित करा;

  • ताण कमी होतो;
  • चिंता नियंत्रित करते;
  • भावनिक आरोग्यास प्रोत्साहन देते;
  • आत्म-जागरूकता वाढवते;
img-20200406-wa0000929476973.jpg

Water Therapy

About 71 percent of the earth’s surface is water-covered. In the case of humans, 60% of the human adult body is water; it constitutes 75% of the body weight. Besides, 70% of the human brain is water.

Water is essential for all body functions and processes, including digestion and elimination. When you are on a diet, water also acts as a weight-loss aid because it can help you eat less. Drinking water is essential during weight loss because it provides hydration without unwanted calories.

There are many evidence-based health benefits of drinking plenty of water:

  • It helps get rid of many diseases in the body;
  • Drinking water in the morning helps in flushing all the toxins in the body and cleanses your intestines;
  • It nurtures, lubricates, and detoxifies when it flows out of the body as urine;
  • It helps with digestion, cools and balances;
  • Helps maximize physical performance;
  • Significantly affects energy levels and brain function;
  • May help prevent and treat headaches;
  • May help relieve constipation;
  • May help treat kidney stones;
  • Helps prevent hangovers;
  • Aid weight loss.

To get maximum benefits of water, one must follow some tips for drinking water:

  • Drink 1-2 glasses of water before eating anything in the morning;
  • Drink 2-3 liters of water/day;
  • Drink warm water in the morning. You can add lemon/ginger/jaggery/honey in it;
  • Drink water half an hour before having a meal;
  • Drink water after half an hour after the meal;
  • Drink water slowly in small sips;
  • Have water-rich foods such as cucumber, tomato.

Water deficiency causes many health issues. It is due to dehydration and has some implications:

  • Persistent Bad Breath. Water is essential for saliva production and helps rinse away bacteria so you can maintain healthy teeth and gums;
  • Fatigue. Not drinking enough water can cause an overall fluid loss in the body;
  • Frequent Illness;
  • Constipation;
  • Poor Skin Health;
  • Sugar Cravings;
  • Decreased Urination.

Make it a habit of drinking water to maintain the water level in a body, for a healthy body.

Happiness leads to Prosperity – 2020 !!!

Yes, it is true!

Happiness –> Prosperity –> Success.

Let’s see what does prosperity means?

Prosperity is flourishing, thriving, good fortune, and successful social status. It is often associated with wealth, happiness, and health. It is dependent upon your happiness and balance in your life. To prove this fact, I have done some analysis.

In 2020, the same countries topped the list in a survey on the happiness index of 156 countries. I have noted down the names of the top 20 happiest countries.

1. Finland6. The Netherlands11. Canada16. Ireland
2. Denmark7. Sweden12. Australia17. Germany
3. Switzerland8. New Zealand13. United Kingdom18. United States
4. Iceland9. Austria14. Israel19. The Czech Republic
5. Norway10. Luxembourg15. Costa Rica20. Belgium

If we look at the list of countries that topped in Prosperity ranking, there are almost the same.

1. Denmark6. The Netherlands11. Iceland16. Australia
2. Norway7. New Zealand12. Ireland17. Hong Kong
3. Switzerland8. Germany13. United Kingdom18. United States
4. Sweden9. Luxembourg14. Canada19. Japan
5. Finland10. Austria15. Singapore20. Taiwan

Our India is 101st in the overall Prosperity Index rankings and 144th in the Happiness Index rankings. If we want our country to top both the lists – the Happiness index and the Prosperity index, we need to work on those factors that our culture taught us. We need to go back to our roots and relearn again what we have forgotten.

Our ancestors have taught the world about values and ethics for leading happy and prosperous life. It is now time to enlighten ourselves with that forgotten knowledge by reading books, scriptures written long back in our Indian culture.

Our country was once the happiest and prosperous country in the world because of its rich culture, morals, and values. We must follow the same path to bring back that golden era of our country…✍️

Kya Hai Mrituy ???

जिंदगी भर अपने मन को मारकर जीना;

मन में दूसरों के प्रति नफरत, द्वेष, मत्सर के बीज बोना;

हर समय नकारात्मक विचार कर अपने ही जीवन में कटुता लाना;

चेहरे से मुस्कान का गायब होना, और हमेशा सूरत रोती रखना;

हमारे होने से दुसरोको तकलीफ होना, और हमारे न होने से किसीको खुशी मिलना;

हमारा होना या न होना, एक समान होना;

The Missing Part

In our childhood, we used to play puzzles. Initially, solving those puzzles seemed to be very difficult. However, with proper help and practice, we could solve every puzzle.

Our life is also a puzzle. Every day brings a new one for us to solve. Puzzles that we have to deal with in life are different from our childhood games. They are very complicated with lots of options. It becomes tedious to identify that particular missing part from all available options. Everyone deal with those puzzles as per his/her abilities and capabilities.

  • Many take efforts to solve those puzzles;
  • Many find it difficult to solve it, so they take help from experts;
  • Many decide to leave them unsolved and continue to live life as it is.

Until my teenage, I used to leave many difficulties unsolved, which caused me many losses in the future. Later, I learned how important it was to take help and effort to solve every puzzle life serves on our plate.

It helped me to find that missing part of my life.

In the future, I decided to take those professions, which gave me opportunities to help others in identifying that missing part of their life, which was holding them back.

As a Coach, Counselor, Consultant, Interior Designer, Dietitian, Fitness professional, Therapist, Trainer, Mentor, and Motivational speaker, I got many opportunities to help others to find that missing part of their life, health, wellness, emotions, feelings, thought process, career, and education to take proper decision for a happy and prosperous life…✍️

A fruitful November after lockdowns

Due to the pandemic, we had to stay at home for our safety. The lockdown was necessary for our health and safety.

The most beneficiary from the lockdown was Mother Nature. We have seen and heard the good news about the healing of the earth due to the lockdown.

During the lockdown, I followed my methods for my physical and mental health. I am happy to achieve the desired results.

I have noted down a few things that I did in lockdown :

  • I watched Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Chanakya on the DD network – It helped to learn the importance of human life and its values. It also reminded me of our rich Indian culture;
  • I read Bhagwat Gita twice. It helped me to learn many things about human life and the way of living it effectively;
  • Did meditation, omkar mantra, pranayama, yoga, bodyweight exercises, weight training, pilates, and kickboxing for a healthy mind and body;
  • Online mentoring sessions for students, aspiring people who are looking for a job, wanted to set up a new business, homemakers, and working women;
  • I have published two fictions on Amazon Kindle – Digging Gold Out Of Mine – A Life -Changing Book ( https://ables.in/2020/05/08/digging-gold-out-of-mine-a-life-changing-book/) and “Why Am I So Unhappy?” (https://ables.in/2020/09/23/why-am-i-so-unhappy/). The characters in these books will help us to understand the day to day challenges we face in our lives and how to overcome them for a happy life.
  • I improved my indoor games – Chess and Carrom.

I hope many of you must have utilized your lockdowns very productively. I will love to hear about it as it will inspire and motivate many.

After a lockdown, I got the opportunity for face to face training sessions, counseling, and consulting sessions from October:

  • Conducted Lectures for students on Employability skills (Academic) in Wai;
  • Consulted for an interior design project for two studio flats in Pune;
  • Consulted for an interior design project for a coffee shop and snack center in Pune.
  • Conducted a session on ‘ Stress Management’ for a kitty group in Pune;
  • Three face to face counseling sessions in Pune.
  • I have started with the draft of my third book and will publish it very soon.

Though lockdown affected all of us financially, mentally, emotionally, and physically; we are coming back on track 👏👏👏

Better days are coming…✍️
